This post is a very common helpline/email contact of ours, we must have got hundreds married or helped to get married over the 12 years we have been going as the Hep B Foundation UK or Hep B Trust. Very often people can get no real facts about the vaccines effectiveness or the power of diagnosis and management of hep to offer a normal life span. This lovely lady had been told by her partner he was gonna die and might infect her but once we got all his results and vaccinated her we made him realise he is perfectly healthy and will stay that way and that her 1000IU/ml antibody response meant she could never get infected. So many couples need to learn this and then we have found they really do progress well.
